(In the States, I call them imported Disco Fries w/ Pastrami) I love it! For the daring - try the Jarry burger. Trust me, it'll make a man out of

8 Truths

The Rules of the Game:
1. Post these rules before your facts.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own post about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Leave them a comment telling them they're tagged, and to read your list.
6. Post your list in the comments of the list you were tagged on.

My 8 Truths:

1.) I like it hot. REAL HOT. So hot that people have walked away from what I was about to eat, because it was too painful to watch. I like to break a good sweat while eating, it show's I'm enjoying. Yup, I'm a pepperhead.

2.) I will not tag anyone on this. People should be doing important things, not contributing to the ever-growing collection of useless information on the Internet. Plus I'm not a fan of "the rules." I've got my own guidelines I follow, but they're only a suggestion. Sometimes I...

How to piss off over 1 billion people

Gazprom bid to cut off China gas

Russian energy giant Gazprom has asked the government to cancel an agreement to pipe large quantities of gas to China from fields in Siberia.
Alexander Ananenkov, the group's deputy chief executive, said plans to deliver 80bn cubic metres of gas a year to China would leave Russia short.

The gas was due to be exported from Exxon Mobil's Sakhalin-1 project on Russia's Pacific coast.

The move could fan fears over Moscow's hold on key gas and oil projects.

"We consider it necessary for a directive to be issued and Sakhalin-1 gas to be sold to Gazprom so we could supply gas to Russia's regions, and for the gas not to be exported as proposed by Exxon Mobile," said Mr Ananenkov, speaking at a meeting of a regional social and economic development council.

He claimed that Russia's four far eastern regions alone need more than 15bn cubic metres of gas a year.

Gas shortages

If the Russian government responds to Gazprom's proposal and interven...

The Liquid Breakfast

Two buddies, insurance man Ray and a friend, decide to meet for a liquid breakfast before the insurance man heads for his office.

Suddenly they are getting very drunk at a bar when suddenly Ray throws up all over himself. "Oh, no," he cries. "My manager Barbara will kill me!"

The friend then says, "Don’t worry, pal. Just tuck a twenty dollar bill in your breast pocket and tell her that someone threw up on you and gave you a twenty dollar bill for the dry-cleaning."

So they stay for another couple of hours and get even drunker. Eventually the insurance man rolls into his office and manager Barbara screams, "You stink of alcohol and you’ve puked all over yourself! My God, you’re Disgusting!"

Ray says, "I can es’plain everythin! Ish not what you think. I Only had a cupla drinks. But thish other guy got sick on me... he had one too many and he jush couldn’t hold hizz drink. He said he was verrry Sorry an’ gave me a twenty dollar bill for the cleaning bill!"

Pre-flight check

Found this on Ukrainian Observer website. Enjoy!

Just in case you need a laugh

Remember it takes a college degree to fly an airliner but only a high school diploma to fix one. Here is just a little reassurance for those of us who fly routinely in our jobs.
After every flight, Qantas pilots fill out a form, called a "gripe sheet," which tells mechanics about problems with the aircraft.

The mechanics correct the problems, document their repairs on the form, and then pilots review the gripe sheets before the next flight.

Never let it be said that ground crews lack a sense of humor. Here are some actual maintenance complaints submitted by Qantas' pilots (marked with a P) and the solutions recorded (marked with S) by maintenance engineers. By the way, Qantas is the only major airline that has never, ever, had an accident.

P: Left inside main tire almost needs replacement.
S: Almost replaced left inside main tire.
P: Test flight OK, except auto-land very rough.
S...
